Personal history: Previously I have worked as the vice-dean for the Faculty of Communcation Sciences at UTA, Director for The Finnish Institute in Japan (2002-2005), Visiting Fellow in Media and Communication at the Goldsmiths College of University of London (2012), Visiting Researcher at The National Institute of Informatics, Japan (2007) and The Sophia University in Tokyo (1997). I worked as the Head of Communications and Media Relations at Tampere University of Technology 2005-2007. I’ve also worked as a journalist.
