Jaana Parviainen will give a keynote speech “The rise of AI-driven robot bodies and the reconfiguration of interaction” in the conference Gestures and Artefacts: Diachronic Perspectives on Embodiment and Technology at the University of Cologne on the 29 November 2018. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars from philosophy, archaeology, and anthropology to discuss issues concerning the use of the body and technical objects in social practices and the development of human cultures.
