The network will organize annual Doctoral Congresses for doctoral students of philosophy.

The Call for Papers for the next congress will be announced in May 2019.

General instructions:

The one-page abstract should include the title of the presentation together with the name, affiliation, and e-mail address. The name of the supervisor(s) of the participant should also be indicated. The full paper to be submitted upon registration (after the notification of acceptance) should be 10-12 pages in length, and presentable in about 20 minutes. The full paper is sent (only) to the commentator for the preparation of comments.

Both the acceptance of submitted abstract and registration with full paper are required for participation in the congresses!

Graduate conference 24-26 October 2016

The network continues to organize an annual doctoral conference with commentators for the doctoral students. The next conference will be held in Tampere, during fall 2016. The network aims to help with the accommodation and travel expenses of the participants.

  • Conference dinner (Tuesday evening, Ravintola Telakka, 2nd floor)

Programme – Schedule about 9.30 am to 18 pm from Mon to Wed. In the first day (Monday) we start at 10.15.
