MEDIA AND THE ARCTIC.
1st international Master Class week in Tampere (5 ECTS)
October 2018 – January 2019 (Master Class in Tampere 26–30 November 2018)
Teachers: Markku Heikkilä, Anna Kireeva, Thomas Nilsen, Alexei Popogrebsky, Malgorzata (Gosia) Smieszek, Vlad Strukov.
Topics: Arctic Environmental Journalism, Global Connections of the Arctic, Visual Representations of the Arctic.
The course is free for up to 40 students of the University of Tampere and TarC’s partner universities. At the University of Tampere the course can be used for units JOUJOVTS, JMMMETUS, RUST2, RUST5 AND VENS10.
Up to ten media professionals are invited to join the course as an academic module. Course fee for media professionals: 1950 € (VAT 0%).
Second and final enrolment period is 13 August – 14 September 2018.
